District West recently welcomed commercial tenants, restaurant operators, and Houston-area brokers to a private tenant showcase inside Star Cinema Grill, giving the community an inside look at the next wave of concepts joining the 100-acre mixed-use development.
The event brought together future operators, local business owners, and members of the commercial real estate community as we highlighted the newest additions to the District West lineup — including major culinary and entertainment brands featured in the Houston Business Journal. With leasing activity accelerating and new construction underway, the showcase served as a first look at how the development is shaping into one of West Houston/Richmond’s most dynamic destinations for food, beverage, retail, and entertainment.
New Tenants Announced at the Event
District West has recently signed several high-profile concepts, adding energy and diversity to the tenant mix. As highlighted in the Houston Business Journal, the newest additions include:
Picklr, bringing a 35,000 SF indoor pickleball club
Grazia Italian Kitchen
Carneceria Prime
Pacific Coast Tacos
A new virtual golf concept
Star Cinema Grill
Whiskey River West
Additionally, other restaurant groups are finalizing leases or LOIs, such as:
Pecan Jacks
Luckies Burgers
Oribello’s Restaurant Group (Sazan, Endo, Oribello's) & Bar District West signs pickleball …
These tenants will join existing anchors such as Whiskey River West, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, and the surrounding multi-family communities that are already fueling steady daily traffic.
Showcasing “Oaks Green” — A Signature Dining Destination
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of Oaks Green, District West’s upcoming restaurant-driven courtyard. The Houston Business Journal describes Oaks Green as an oak tree-lined lawn with outdoor seating, fire pits, and several 100-year-old live oaks that will anchor a collection of chef-driven restaurants. This environment is designed for dining concepts that want:
Large patios
Natural shade
A walkable food-and-beverage district
High visibility from Grand Parkway (99) and Westpark Tollway
A built-in customer base from nearby apartments, office condos, and surrounding neighborhoods
Oaks Green is shaping up to be one of the most desirable restaurant nodes in West Houston/Richmond.
